MEET ALISON – YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER AND HYPE WOMAN
For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing more than 1,000 women, each with their own story, their own worries and their own reasons for booking.
Some arrive celebrating a milestone. Others are rebuilding their confidence after illness, motherhood, divorce or simply years of putting everyone else first.
Whatever brings you here, my goal is the same.
To create a luxury, fully guided experience where you feel comfortable, supported and proud of the woman looking back at you.
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to be a certain size. You don’t need to feel confident before you arrive.

I’m a very self conscious person, but took a deep breath and booked myself in.
I was so nervous when I got there, but I didn’t need to be. Alison and Juliette made me feel so welcome and comfortable whilst doing my hair and make up. During the shoot, I didn’t feel as self conscious because they’d already made me feel so at ease, plus Alison demonstrated each pose prior and wouldn’t do anything that you would not look good in. At the end of the shoot when I got to view the photos I was simply blown away. I’ve never thought of myself as pretty or beautiful but when I saw the photos I thought I looked beautiful. I showed them to close friends and they all agreed that I looked stunning and made me feel so much better about myself. Honestly I would highly recommend Alison to anyone so if you’re tempted don’t hesitate.

Just to make you aware, I usually wear about a size 18. And yes, that’s not small, but that’s quite average for us UK women.

I think I, I laughed out of pure shock at times because I didn’t know that I could look the way I did in those photos. But it was a really, really good feeling and I’ve now got a, a canvas on my wall in my bedroom and I’ve got a beautiful photo album to remind me of what I look like but also how I felt on that day because it’s such a confidence boost and it makes you feel so, so good.

Alison is the photographer here at Red Bow and has over 15 years of experience as a boudoir photographer so you are in good hands. Our team is an all female team so we will look after you, you can be reassured by that.
You are COMPLETELY normal! 🙂 In fact we hear all of our clients say that. Remember that one of our wonderful female photographers will coach you through the entire photo shoot, telling you exactly what to do, how to pose, and what expression to give. The most apparent and repeated comment in our testimonials section is about how comfortable and relaxed we make our client’s feel; so you are in good hands 🙂As bad as you think you may be at taking a photo, don’t you worry, you are will be guided by the most experienced boudoir coaches.
YES ABSOLUTELY! We have been photographing women of all shapes, size and age for over 15 years and specialise in creating beautiful images of every woman that walks through our studio doors. Just check out our portfolio and see how many gorgeous ladies we have had the pleasure of photographing.
I think pretty much every lady says that to me at some point and tell me the bits they dont like about themselves but it is my job as the photographer to make you look and feel amazing! I have been doing this awesome job now for over 15 years and know exactly how to pose and make women of all ages, shapes and sizes look amazing in their photographs. I will guide you through everything and remember I do this every day so you are in safe hands.
We have a gorgeous range of lingerie in many different colours and sizes aswell as a collection of couture gowns & accessories. We have a wide range of accessories such as ostrich feathers, boas, pearls, through to body jewellery, cuffs and chains. You can really dress up.
When you book we will send you out a prep guide in your welcome email with ideas of what to wear. We also offer a client wardrobe where you can choose from our great range of outfits props and shoes but you can also bring along your own favourite/new outfits aswell so you can choose to mix and match to get the right look for your boudoir shoot.
This is all about you, that’s fine! We have so many clients that come in with cute clothing options and we get amazing photos.
Yes, but you will still look like YOU. We are going to airbrush all of the images in your order. Every image that you purchase digitally or that’s in your boudoir album includes our standard airbrushing – which is skin softening, reducing the appearance of cellulite and wrinkles, as well as blemish removal. You won’t look fake or and no one will know we retouched them. Keep in mind we do not “nip and tuck” extensively. We want to make sure that we aren’t conforming to society’s ridiculous standard of beauty.
With that said, you are the client and we want you to be happy with your images, and though we don’t want to cuz we like how you look… should you request more extensive contouring we can do so at an additional fee.) We will pose, light, and style you to flatter YOUR figure and celebrate who YOU are so that retouching is minimal – not mold and change you into what our culture is teaching us ladies we need to be. #beyourownsupermodel
Well sort of!! We prefer to call it illusion of nude. We shoot topless and the illusion of nudity. So you don’t actually see any lower lady bits as we like to keep it tasteful and sophisticated. Boudoir is more about showing you in a beautiful and classy way not sexualising you. It’s still super sexy.
First we think we have the most experience, and when it comes to taking pics of people, experience is everything.
More than anything, we genuinely care about the women who walk through our doors. From the moment you arrive at Red Bow, you’ll be welcomed like a friend, not just another booking. We know how nerve-wracking it can feel to do something so personal, especially if you’ve never stepped in front of a camera before, which is why creating a relaxed, safe, and supportive environment means everything to us.
Sadly, we hear so many stories from women who have had rushed, awkward, or uncomfortable experiences elsewhere and that only pushes us to work even harder to give every client the experience they truly deserve. Our studio has been carefully created to feel warm, stylish, private, and inviting, with beautiful sets, flattering lighting, and thoughtful little touches throughout to help you feel comfortable and looked after from start to finish.

A photoshoot like this is not something most women do every day. Of course there will always be cheaper options, but this experience is about so much more than just having photographs taken. It is about how you feel while you are here and long after you leave
If you are unhappy with your images, we don’t offer refunds, but we will do a re-shoot for you with hair and makeup at your own expense. It hasn’t happened, but we are sure that’s a comfort when you are investing in us.
